Happy Easter!

At our house we have had the week long Easter celebration. Last Sunday we celebrated a little early since Bebe and Grandpa couldn’t be in town this weekend. We had a lovely brunch at our apartment and had a great preview of what this Sunday’s Easter feast would be.

After getting through the week of rashes and ear infections and lots and lots of rain, the sun came out for the Easter Egg Hunt at the zoo. The Fleschner’s joined us and we arrived just in time to cheer Sebastian on at the 3-6 year group. The zoo staff spend minutes to lay out all the candy and treats and it is snatched up by the kids in seconds. Sebastian managed to snag a couple pieces of candy, a pencil and some bubbles. Sofia and Eloise’s age group was next and pretty much chaos because the parents were involved. Poor Eloise had some mom’s instructing their kids to take stuff out of her basket or from right under her hands. Not really the Easter spirit if you ask me!

This afternoon we are heading to Nana and Papa’s for some meat, more meat and even more meat… oh and some potatoes, bread and pie. Vegetables not allowed. Happy Eating… I mean Easter everyone!

For our friends and family near and far, you are always close in our hearts and we wanted to share this new and exciting journey with you! Say hi!
